My favourite thing to see overseas is the sunset. It’s one of the most amazing times of the day. Some are subtle, some are bold and bright and some light up the entire sky, every sunset is never the same. I must have over 1000 pictures by now and I don’t think I will ever get sick of them! Here’s 10 spots to catch an incredible sunset…
1. Carterton, New Zealand – Anita Hendrieka
The Wairarapa is home the most amazing sunsets including this one which reflected onto the unusual shape clouds!
2. Mostar, Bosnia – The Five Foot Traveler
After a draining day witnessing the aftermath of the Bosnian War, I walked back to the Mostar’s Old Town, specifically the Stari Most (Old Bridge), to witness one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen — such a stark contrast with the darkness that once flooded the city!
3. Placencia, Belize – Kitty To City
Belize’s hidden gem – there is something for everyone; white sandy beaches, clear blue water, coral reefs, jungle expeditions, and friendly locals.
Me and a few friends were sitting around the campfire in the Rajasthan desert enjoying a few beers while enjoying the sunset when two camels came walking just in front of it.
5. Jurassic Coast, England – Flashpacking Duo
The Jurassic Coast is located along the Southern coastline of England, famed for its fossil hunting and spectacular natural beauty, this World Heritage site is a must visit.

Some places just leave you breathless and you can’t do nothing about it but enjoy the moment.

Imagine yourself here, feel the warm breeze, hear the sounds of the ocean, enjoy the tropical foliage under those blue skies and tell me you still need to know why Hawaii is such a paradise.
8. Wakiki, Oahu, Hawaii – Adventure At Work
There was as gorgeous beach on one side of the street, and bustling shops on the other. Everything you ever could have wanted was in that one area. And with a view like that, how could it be anything but paradise?
9. Halong Bay, Vietnam – Make Time To See The World
I loved spending the night on a junk boat in Halong Bay. As the day turned into night, the vibrant limestone cliffs turned into mystical looking shadows and as the sun went down I saw one of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen. It was just perfect!
10. San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua – Fit Two Travel
A gorgeous sunset out on the open water of the San Juan del Sur bay. So peaceful and beautiful!
